Journey to Hokuriku: Ishikawa with the Japan America Society of Chicago (JASC)

Continue your journey through the prefectures of Japan with Japan America Society of Chicago's next "Journey" event: Journey to Hokuriku: Ishikawa on Thursday, January 26th from 6-7 pm CST!

About the Event

“The Culture of Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Passed Down from the Samurai Era”

During the Samurai period (1603-1868), Kanazawa invested more in culture than in military affairs, and many cultures flourished as a result. Centuries later, we are still carrying on the traditions from that time. We would like to trace Kanazawa’s past and present with you.
