Help Support Brian Mita’s Fight with Cancer

Brian Mita, General Manager & Chef of family owned Izakaya Mita in Chicago and Certified Sake Professional needs your support.

Brian has stage 2 Colon Cancer. He’s already had surgery and will have to start preventative chemotherapy and the resulting recovery in the coming weeks. The good news is that it looks like he’s going to beat this!

He is applying for Medicaid to cover a hospital stay and surgery bill that is currently based at $55,000 before chemo.

If the fundraiser breaks the goal, Brian wanted to donate the remaining funds to Hope For A Day to help support mental health & substance abuse in the restaurant community as it is a cause that is very near to his heart.
