ESL teacher needed for Japanese employees in Indiana

Linda Brown, Director of Employer Engagement at Ivy Community College in Northwest Indiana, has reached out about an opportunity that would be great for a JET alum. Here is her message:

"I am reaching out to see if you may have the interest and capacity for a special project I have with Ivy Tech Community college in Northwest Indiana. I am the Director of Employer Engagement and we have an employer needing some special training for their employees. The project is looking for someone who can teach conversational English to Japanese learners in the manufacturing space.

If you have the experience in teaching English to adult Japanese learners (conversational), then that is what I’m looking for. It is on a contract for 8 weeks. Fridays 11am-1pm. In person at the plant of the employer. We are looking for end of April, beginning of May timeframe to start the course. You would develop the curriculum.”

If you are interested, please reach out to Linda Brown via email at lbrown108@ivytech.edu
