'21 Survival Series: JETogether @ TONIGHT!

There is still time to sign up for the first event of JETAA Chicago's '21 Survival Series, JETogether, for outgoing '20-21 JETs! TONIGHT, Friday, July 16th from 7-8:30 PM CST.

This event will be an informal meet and greet for outgoing JETs to get the chance to learn about different areas in Japan, showcased by JET Alumni, as well as the opportunity to meet other JETs departing for the same area. Save the date and come join us in kicking off the Survival Series!

Also, JETAA Chicago is in need of JET alumni mentors to help educate and onboard the next generation of outgoing JETs! If you are interested in being an alumni mentor for future events, please fill out the Alumni Mentor In-take Form!

Being located in the Chicagoland area is not required to be a mentor. Illinois suburban alumni and subchapter alumni in Wisconsin and Indiana are welcome and wanted!

'21 Survival Series: Diversity of Experiences Panel!

Join us on Friday, July 30th from 7-8:30 PM, CST, for the second event of JETAA Chicago's '21 Survival Series, Diversity of Experience Panel, for outgoing '20-21 JETs ! This event will be focused on giving outgoing JETs the chance to discuss how to navigate areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) while in Japan, as well as how said areas will impact one's experience, such as being a minority, double-minority, and even novel minority. The panel will be led by JET Alumni who have navigated areas of DEI and are also open to answering questions. Save the date and come join us in the continuation of the Survival Series!
