JETogether for Dia de Muertos THIS SATURDAY!

Remember to sign up for our JETogether this Saturday, November 5th at the National Museum of Mexican Art! The Museum has hosted the art of many Japanese-American and Japanese-Mexican artists over the years, including Shizu Saldamando, and we will be checking out their annual Dia de Muertos Exhibit!

We will meet in front of the Museum at 11am sharp! Street parking is available around Harrison Park where the museum is located (watch out for the Neighborhood Parking signs!) and the Museum is easily accessible via public transportation on the Damen bus, 18th St. bus or Pink line train. Find your best route here!

And after we are done, feel free to stick around for a Coffee & Conversation Nijikai!

JLPT reading practice @ our Japanese Language Series event TOMORROW!

Remember to join us TOMORROW, Thursday, October 27th from 6:30-7:30 pm CST, for JETAA Chicago's Japanese Language Series event for October!

It's time to prepare for the JLPT in December, so we're putting our noses in the books! We will be going through some reading (or dokkai) strategies and activities based on the JLPT N4, N3, and N2. Not preparing for any of those tests? No worries! The night will still be an opportunity for Japanese listening practice for all skill levels. ぜひ来てください！

The Japanese Language Series events are intended to bring together JETAA members and supporters who want to stay engaged with Japanese language learning and use.

Join us Saturday, December 3rd from 11am-1pm CST, for the (virtual) JETAA Chicago Career Development Workshop and Panel! If you are a JET alum currently navigating the job market after JET, considering switching careers, or just pondering what’s next for you, then your attendance is welcome! This event is intended to bring together JETAA members who are looking for career advice at all stages of their career trajectory.
