2024 Survival Series: JETogether!

Join us on Friday, May 24 from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM, CST,  for the first event of JETAA Chicago's '24 Survival Series, JETogether, for outgoing '24 JETs ! This event will be an informal meet and greet for outgoing JETs to get the chance to learn about different areas in Japan, showcased by JET Alumni, as well as the opportunity to meet other JETs departing for the same area. JETAA WI Sub-chapter Meeting

JETAA Wisconsin's 1st quarter sub-chapter meeting will be on Saturday, June 8, 2024 in Madison, WI. We will have our quarterly meeting over lunch at 11:30am at Garver Feed Mill, followed by a visit to Olbrich Botanical Gardens. For those who can stay, we will be doing a Mini Succulent Garden Workshop in the afternoon at Garver Feed Mill.

Date: Saturday, June 8, 2024

Tentative Schedule:

• 11:30 am - lunch meeting at Garver Feed Mill (3241 Garver Green, Madison, WI 53704)

• 12:30 pm - walk around Olbrich Botanical Gardens (3330 Atwood Avenue, Madison, WI 53704)

• 3:00 pm - Workshop: Mini Succulent Garden, held at The Glitter Workshop (Garver Feed Mill)

May the Fourth be with you! And while you're in a Star Wars mood, don't forget to sign up for our May Open Board Meeting and Star Wars Happy Hour on Monday, May 6th at 6:30 pm CST! At our open board meeting, we will discuss upcoming events and more in the new term. And in order to honor the special day (May the Fourth...but on the Sixth!), the monthly meeting will be immediately followed by a virtual happy hour with a fun Star Wars twist! 

The meeting starts at 6:30 pm and the happy hour will begin around 7:30 pm, with the official "kanpai" at 7:45 pm. Relax with fellow JETs for a night of laid back conversation and fun group activities. Join us for one or both!
