Join Heartland JET Alumni Assocation for an online screening of "Namba - A Japanese American's Incarceration and Life of Resilience."

On Saturday, January 25th, Kansas Subchapter representative Baiba Sedriks has organized a viewing of this documentary telling the American story of May Namba and her experience through World War II and the incarceration of Japanese Americans. Doors open at 6PM CT and the screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Emily Hanako Momohara.

2025 Virtual Career Development Workshop

Join us Saturday, February 15th from 11 am-1 pm CST, for the virtual JETAA Chicago Career Development Workshop! If you are a JET alum currently navigating the job market after JET, considering switching careers, or just pondering what’s next for you, then your attendance is welcome! This event is intended to bring together JETAA members who are looking for career advice at all stages of their career trajectory.

Our speaker will be Emily Frank from The Career Catalyst, who can answer your questions about finding a new position. The workshop will answer the question, "Why is it so hard to find a job? (And what to do about it)"

The first ten people to sign up AND attend the event will receive a one-hour one-on-one session with Emily free of charge on the topic of their choice. Preference will be given to JETAA Chicago members.
