Join your fellow alumni for our second JETAA Chicago virtual trivia night!

Everyone’s been stuck at home with not much to do besides catch up on the latest Netflix craze, so this time we’ll be turning our attention to MOVIES! But which movies, you ask? Well, that’s a secret, but we can tell you that they will involve one of three categories: action, comedy, and fantasy. Keep an eye out on our Instagram for hints throughout the week!

We are limiting the number of competitors, so only the first 20 RSVPs for the Trivia Contestant ticket will be able to officially compete.

Miss that opportunity or just not so interested in the competitive angle? We would still love to have you conference in and join the fun! Pick the Spectator option when RSVPing; our video and text chat will be open for alumni to come in and hang out on Saturday night.

Introductions will start promptly at 7pm with an aim for the trivia to start at 7:20pm. If you are not on the call by 7:20pm, we may give your spot to another alumni. There are three rounds which will last around 15 minutes a piece, so budget between an hour and an hour and a half to play!

Let's JETogether for our Second Virtual Happy Hour!

Inspired by our neighbors at Great Lakes JETAA, we (JETAA Chicago) kicked off the series of virtual Friday night happy hours on March 27, with over 50+ JET Alumni attending worldwide from 18 different chapters. We're excited about helping to keep these virtual events rolling forward!

Come join in the fun as global community comes together to build connections and support each other as we navigate this new normal.

The Details:

• 7:00PM CST - our room opens

• BYOB! An official "KANPAI!" will happen around 7:30PM CST.

• Event theme (optional) = Hats & Hair (wear a fun/crazy/favorite hat, headpiece or hairstyle)

Alumni can join anytime during the window for as long as they like. A few fun icebreakers will be hosted throughout the evening.

This is a business-to-business event, with an opportunity for the public to gain access into the Japanese ramen & izakaya industry. There will be Japanese food distributors, including multiple manufacturers of noodles, gyoza, toppings, seasonings, sauces, soups, beverages, tableware, machinery, and many more!

This event is aimed to help build future business opportunities for ramen industry companies from Japan, by introducing them to those who are already established in the United States, and to others who are looking to start.
