JETAA Chicago members turned out to strike down pins and pick up spares for the annual BOWLnenkai celebration! The afternoon was filled with catching up, story swapping, pizza, and bowling of course! Thanks to all the alumni who joined the party on February 25th at Strike Ten Lanes to kick off another great year of JETAA Chicago events! “We’re better when we #JETogether!”

Book Club - What You Are Looking For Is In The Library

A new twist on an old favorite! The JETAA Chicago and Japan America Society of Chicago YPC Book Club continues in 2024 with a meeting in April!

Join us for our next meeting on Tuesday, April 9th!

Our book club highlights voices and stories with a solid connection to Japan. For our next meeting, we have chosen What You Are Looking For Is In The Library. Written by Michiko Aoyama, April's pick is a tribute to the magic of libraries, friendship, and community, perfect for anyone who has ever found themselves at an impasse in their life and needing inspiration.

There are still spots left for our JETAAC (JET Alumni Association of Chicago) annual Shin-Bowlnenkai this Sunday, February 25th, from 3-5 pm CST! This event is not just about striking down pins; it’s a night filled with laughter, networking, and tasty treats. We’re hosting a 2-hour bowling game that’s perfect for both beginners and seasoned players. 

But wait, there's more! With only 15 slots available, make sure to reserve your spot with a $5.00 RSVP fee. And, in these times, your health is our priority. If you’re feeling under the weather, please stay home. Let’s bowl and bond in the safest way possible! Ticket sales will end on Friday, February 23rd, so secure your spot now!
