Kobe College Corporation-Japan Education Exchange (KCC-JEE) is now accepting applications for the following position from motivated English language teachers wishing to enrich their professional career at a high-ranking academic institution in Japan.


Job Title, School and Location

• Full-time Teacher of English as an Other Language with extra-curricular duties to high-achieving Japanese Girls in grades 7 through 12

Kobe College Junior and Senior High School, a comprehensive private school

• Nishinomiya, Japan


Contract, Salary and Benefits

• Two-year contract, beginning April 1, 2022, with the possibility of extensions for up to a total of a five-year stay

• A salary of 4,691,200 yen plus subsidized furnished housing provided by the school, and Japanese language study


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in English or Education preferred

• TESOL certification and large classroom teaching experience preferred

• Speaker of standard American English with strong grammar and writing skills


Position Expectations

• Be flexible to either team teach or solo teach

• Be able to create/modify a curriculum according to the students’ linguistic needs and interests by incorporating activities such as conversations, speeches, cultural discussions, debates, group projects, and presentations

• Fully participate with colleagues in extracurricular professional duties before and after designated class time

USJETAA is excited to offer free career counseling and resume review services to JET alumni. To be eligible, you must be an alumni of the JET program, a member of USJETAA, and a resident of the U.S.


All of the services take place online, so you can participate from your home or work.


USJETAA will be offering 25 career counseling sessions and 20 resume review opportunities to JET alumni on a first-come, first-served basis. Since services are limited, JET alumni are only eligible to participate in 1 (one) free service (a career counseling or a resume review session).


Our career and resume experts are JET alumni who want to give back to the JET community, and so they will also be offering discounted rates for additional services or for those who miss out on the free opportunities.

Seeking a part-time Bilingual Admin fluent in Japanese to perform basic administrative duties and data entry. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The position is for 5-6 hours per day, 5 days a week.
