FIC America Corp. is a Japanese-owned tier I automotive components manufacturer centrally located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Our manufacturing operation supports metal stamping, welding, and mechanical assembly. We are actively searching for a bilingual (Japanese/English) translator to join the team.

Provide Japanese translation and Interpretation support

Translate information from Japanese to English and vice versa as necessary

Prepare reports, presentations, and memos by hand or using software

Perform general clerical duties, such as word processing, faxing, and filling

Follow standard work instructions

Perform other duties as assigned

Other Job Functions

Comply with FIC’s Safety policies and procedures

Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards

Perform 5-S activities

Requirements

1+ years of Japanese/English Translation

Must be fluent in both written and spoken Japanese

Must be willing to cross-train

Must be able to work company’s required overtime

Must comply with FIC’s Attendance and Punctuality Policy
